Question about FileVault and Administrator account.

Two simple questions: Is it convenient to encrypt my Hard Drive with FileVault, as in, no stability or other kind of issues if I do so?
And another question: I am currently using my administrator account for everything (and haven't set up a second one). Should I do that, from a security and stability standpoint? Or it isn't necessary? Still new to all this, thanks in advance.

You likely won't notice a difference. And there's no need to have a separate account

I do recommend that you use a separate user account. It is a good practice with almost no downsides.
