Alright, I have my external hard drive plugged into my iMac and for some reason when I open it and click on any folder it opens up a new window. How can I make it so that whenever a new folder is open the current window is used is display it?

I got it!!
For those of you who may be having the same issue. I just went to the top of the window, right clicked, and then selected customize toolbar. From there once the toolbar was added the issue was resolved.
