Hi, I'm going to be purchasing a MBP very soon and i was browsing through the RAM FAQ and i am utterly confused still.. about SO-DIMM and FB-DIMM/ Penryn compaitibily to the MBP. Im most likely going to buy the MBP with 2 gig then upgrade it myself but i dont know wat to buy on newegg.com (looking to upgrade to 4gb) so which ones are compatible to the MBP currently?

thanks a bunch

I went to RadioShack of all places last week and picked up 2 2GB PC-5300 sticks for my 2.4GHz Black MacBook for a shockin price of $100 and they installed and tested without any hangups or problems.

Buy RAM for your mac from a reliable source for mac memory for guaranteed compatibility.

OWC is a great place w/ great service and support, great prices and fast shipping.
