Question about game saves when getting new iPad

So just took my iPad 2 in for dead pixel, and should be getting a replacement soon, but one quick question was that when I get the new iPad, will all my progress be saved in my games? Probably a stupid question, but just wanted to know.

Restore from backup

As long as you choose to restore from backup in iTunes all you saves will be in tact....

Results will be mixed for individual games I'm afraid.

Gun Bro's for example has your game progress saved online, so when you change device; iPhone to iPad, to iPod, back to iPhone, etc. Your progress will go with you.

Older games, seem to lose progress.
For this reason I still play some games on my original iPad.

If you let us know a list of Games you have perhaps other forum members can provide more specific answer for you.

Ah that's interesting, I didn't know this.
I always start a new device with a new profile so didn't pick up on this.
