question about garage band 2

i just started using garage band 2, and noticed that i can edit by notation and sheet music. Can i actually place notes on the sheet music, cuz if i can, i havent figured it out yet......please help

Look in the help section of GB and search for music notation. I think that you have to have a software instrument track already in place--ie one you played with a keyboard (but that could be the onscreen keyboard). Then, command-clicking will place new notes. Again, see the help section for all the details on everything you can do.
