Question about getting iPhone

Ok I didn't get to preorder so I figur there is no way I will get one on 24th so when would I be able to get another shot at getting one?

I think there will be a few iPhone 4's on hand in the Apple store on the 24th. You'd probably have to get there mega early to have a chance though.

Guess I won't get it then when they come out because it's a thursday and I work that day. but a walmart is right next to my work what time are they releasing it there cuz I can't see calling off for it. Also so mid July would be my next shot at it?
