I had to change my Gmail password and did it through my computer. This is a Gmail account that is managed through a 3rd party college system. When I log into Gmail on the computer I have to go through the schools website to log in, but when I originally set up the app on my iPhone I logged into the app and then it sent me to a sign in page for the school system and then back to the app.
Anyway, after I changed the password on the school's site and checked to make sure I could log into Gmail, I grabbed my iPhone and iPad to change the passwords in the Gmail app, but I couldn't find anywhere in the settings to do that. Here's the weird part, the apps are still working and able to send and receive mail. Is this normal? Do the apps auto update the password? That would make me nervous as anyone who might have hacked (I have no reason to believe anyone did) my Gmail would just get updated when I changed the password.
