So besides saving battery, are there any other pros for turning graphic switching on??? And it is ok to leave it off???

Howdy fel10,

Battery savings is the primary reason, and maybe temperature. Running the integrated graphics only, will run cooler than the dGPU. I am not sure about macOS, but under Windows (not BootCamp on Macs as the dGPU is the only available option) you might want to use the integrated video to take advantage of Intel QuickSync technology, but other than that, it is just for battery life :) Good luck!

As LinkRS said, you will safe a lot of battery life and your Macbook will run so much cooler with integrated graphics.

I think that Macbooks will run with dedicated graphics using bootcamp, there is no way to use integrated graphics using bootcamp.

In MacOS, you can use gfxcardstatus to use only integrated graphics and safe battery life.
