Hi All,

First time iPhone and smartphone owner here. I've had a 4S for a week now and have a few questions. :D

Since I've used mostly regular feature phones for the last decade, I'm used to just pressing the red button to hang up and I've been doing the same after a call on this phone too except I hit the home key now. Sometimes I can hear sounds from the other side before I realize it and launch the phone app again and hang up.

It's not a big deal but is there a way to configure it to hang up when we hit the home key?

My second question was about battery life: My phone seems to drop from 100% to 90% very rapidly (about an hour of standby) and slows down as the battery charge gets lower. Has anyone else observed this?

For example, I disconnect my phone from the charger at 8AM, by about 8:30 its at 90%. By the time I put it back on the charger at 11PM, its still at about 50%. It's on wifi all day except for the commute or any trips to the store in the evening but I have 5 bars of 3G there.

Another related question: Yesterday I probably used the phone for an hour the entire day. The usage however shows 3 hours! What could be increasing my usage count? I had no apps running besides the phone.
