Question about IAP unlock

Hi all,

A few months ago, I purchased an unlock in an app for my daughter, to unlock all content for $1.99. The app was deleted by accident, and I reinstalled it using the Itunes app on the ipod touch. When I try to unlock the same content again, it asks me to pay once more. Is this normal behavior for apps? Do I lose the unlocked content if I reinstall it?

Normally Apple would reject an app if they would do that..
There should be a button to restore your actual in-app purchase, and if it doesn't have it, you should be able to click buy, and it should say, "already bought", and will just deliver it back to you without charging you again
