I just have one question to ask... What kind of connector type does the ibook G4 keyboard have?

It has a ribbon cable, if that's what you mean.

If you mean for like an external keyboard, USB only.

I bought a ibook G3 keyboard for my ibook G4. It doesn't fit properly, the ribbon cable is a bit shorter. I was thinking about using an extension.
Would it be possible to find one?

I think you probably shouldn't hold your breath. Laptop keyboards aren't interchangeable like desktop keyboards. Your G3 keyboard doesn't fit properly in your G4 because it wasn't built for the G4.
