hi, i bought a powerbook 2 months ago and it's bundled with a lot of software, my question is, do i still need to buy iLife? what is iLife? do i need it or will i just be purchasing the software i already have? thank you

No, its already there. Just look in your Dock for iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes, iDVD, and Garageband. If they aren't in the dock they are in your applications folder. If they aren't there then you got ripped off and you should demand your money back. :D

Welcome to Mac. If you bought your PowerBook new 2 months ago, then you have iLife '04 pre-installed. Look in the Dock at the bottom of your display. As you scroll over the application icons, you should see the names iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, Garageband, and iDVD. Those applications are what make up iLife suite.
