Hey there!

I have a dilemma...

I'm from Brazil, and I'm going to NY soon (dec/jan). I work mostly with Video Editing and images with Illustrator.
For those who don't know, here in Brazil, everything is VERY expensive (a basic MBP 13" is something like $2250, instead of $1199 at US).

Already have a iMac 21.5" (late 2009/early 2010 I think, not "i" family) 3.06ghz intel core 2 duo, 4gb ram, nvidia 9400 (256mb), with this in mind, I'm thinking about sell it and buy a MBP 15" i7 4gb ram. (I would love to buy a iMac 27" but I can't bring it with me, too big, too heavy...)

The question is: It's worth it? Trading my iMac for the MPB? I know that it's a huge difference with the processor and the video card, but I don't know, just felt that I had to ask this here.

Thanks in advance!
