Question about in-store collection

This might be a bit of a silly question, but I just want to make sure...

I was lucky enough to get a watch ordered for in-store collection on launch day. This was important because I'm travelling back from holiday that day, so wouldn't have been in for a delivery.

I had to pick a slot and went for late in the day, but what happens if traffic's bad and I miss the opening hours?

I'm assuming I can just pick it up the next day - as I've ordered the thing and not just reserved it - but the whole booking a collection slot makes me worry that they might sell the stock if you don't turn up.
