Question about Infinite Flight

My son (9) loves playing this game and wants me to log in via FB or G+ so he can use the multi player function. Has anyone done this? If so, how does it work? No don't want him on social media. I wish I could log in with Game Center.
 
Can you create some placeholder FB or G+ account (basically just a new empty account set to not share/post anything with anyone, unless some of that is needed for the game) and use that just for purposes like this one (having something available in a game)?
