question about ink

I just got a tablet and I was using ink, when I realized ink has a notepad option, if you click on that, it give you the option of writing or drawing notes, and at the bottom of the window there are two buttons, clear and send. What does send do, when I click it nothing happens?

Thanks, also I tried help, and for some reason its not in there.
 
Never mind, feel like an idiot, the send button sends what you've drawn or wrote to the application that your in.
