I'm about to sell my phone as I bought a Samsung Galaxy S2. I now don't have a micro sim anymore. I just restored my phone and it wants a sim card to activate after being restored. It doesn't matter if I don't activate it before I send it to someone as its unlocked is that right?

That's right. As long as you've restored it to factory settings, you should not do anything else with it. All of your data will be erased from the phone at this point. Let the new owner activate it with their sim.

Cheers,

RTP.

If the buyer really needs to see the phone work, you can always hactivate with redsn0w to show them the Springboard. The only drawback to this is that sometimes even an official SIM will give you 'No Service' after a hactivation.
