Ok, hopefully the title isn't confusing. I'm calling the next iPhone to be released 6, because it will be the 6th generation phone. I believe this is what Apple will call it too.

So, how many of you believe that Apple will be releasing the iPhone 6 in June of next year?? (like usual)

Or is the consensus that we will have to wait another 15-16 months for it??

Which would be like January 2013!! WOW!

I just wanna get the y'alls opinions before I pull the trigger on the 4S.

Thanks!!

Expect the usual 12-month cycle, which makes it October 2012.

By the way, it'll be called either iPhone 4G or iPhone LTE.

While it's possible I don't think Apple will go an entire calendar year without releasing a new phone.

What makes you think so? I hate all these monikers, I wish it were just "iPhone". I think iPhone 4G/LTE sounds pretty tacky.

I beg of you, tell me you were being facetious when you said "usual 12-month cycle"
Original iPhone - 12 months - iPhone 3G - 12 months - iPhone 3GS - 12 months - iPhone 4 - 16 months - iPhone 4S.

So 3 out 4 times you don't call "usual"?

here yo go,

the release month is now October.

the next name will be 4G

:apple: all the way
eff droid

I hope you are right, 12 months or longer would be acceptable to me at this point.

I kinda like iPhone LTE. :)
