Question about iPhone 7 Trade In & MVNO

I have 2 iPhone 4s laying around I'd like to use towards a trade in. The problem revolves around the fact that I'm currently using one of the phones on a Verizon MVNO. This would be a seamless transaction if I was using Verizon or AT&T directly. How do I trade in the old phone in this situation without losing my old phone number?
