Hey all. So I got my iPhone on launch day and have been scrambling to find a car charger. With Apple's new Lightning connector, third party products are hard to come by. So I went ahead and bought an extra Lightning cable and now I need a USB-to-car adapter.

I bought this yesterday.

So my question is, being as the car adapter I bought on Amazon is a 2.1amp charger, is that bad for my iPhone battery. Will it charge it too fast and screw up my iPhone battery?

Any help would be appreciated. I'd love to cancel this item if I need to before it ships.

There should not be any problem using it at all. I have been using the iPad charger for my 5 and used it all the time with my 4S and all it does is charge the battery a little faster. I have noticed no ill effects with my phones. The iPad charger is the same 2.1 amps.
