Question about ipod touch 2nd gen 2.2 jailbreak?

Okay well whenever the ipod touch 2nd gen jailbreak comes out and cydia is avaliable, will the apps from Cydia that worked on the 1st gen ipod still work on the 2nd gen ipod? in other words, if a jailbroken 1st gen itouch installed winterboard, and then it worked. then a jailbroken 2nd gen itouch installed winterboard. would winterboard work on the software? sorry if this is confusing i just want to know if apps will still work on the 2nd gen. thanks so much

I'm pretty sure they will still work, I can't see the dev team coming out with anything short of that.

I think it will be quite a while before we see a jailbreak for that though. It is a lot tougher to crack

iphone dev team have put it on hold the chronic dev team are still trying to jailbreak it
