Can you delete the pre-come-with apps like stocks? also how many apps can you have on the docks?

Thanks for answering

No you can't delete apps like Stocks or Safari (maybe if you jailbreak it, there's a way). Also I think you can have about 9 or 10 pages of apps.

You can't delete the pre-come apps like stocks, but you can put them on page 2 (or 3 or 4), way on the right, so you never see them (except by mistake when scrolling to the right too fast).

I don't know what you mean by docks. You can have 16 icons per page and up to 9 pages. That's 144 icons, plus the four on the bottom. That makes 148 by my estimates.

isnt it possible to hold 3 or 2 or 1?

When I hear "How many can it hold" I think of maximum capacity, not all possible options.

All possible options for icons in the dock on the bottom include: 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4. That exhausts all options for icons in the dock on the bottom of the touch.

What happens if you put more than 9 pages of apps?

haha It will stop you.

Well, they move along to the next page like a kind of FIFO stack until all pages are filled. When you have more than 100 apps loading up it will only load the first 100 and then it leaves the rest off until you delete some apps.

Deleting apps on the iPT will signal the iTunes sync program to NOT load the program again until you check it specifically to load.

I'm still working out my 220 apps down to a suitable 100 or less. It'll take a while.
