Question about jbing and AT&T

When I first bought my iPhone 4 I asked the representative what she thought about me jbing my phone. She said that it's a bad idea because when I pass by an AT&T antenna AT&T will see that my iPhone is JBken and that they will cancel my insurance on the spot . . . So is this a good lie or any truth to this because I wouldn't mind jbing my phone so I can personalize it.

Just restore it if you have any problems and there will most likely be no issues. The AT&T employee you asked was either lying or didn't have a clue.

I would have demanded a different sales rep at that point, I wouldn't want her to get the commission, and possibly advance up the corporate ladder to pass on her stupidity to others.
