The agreement for macOS Ventura talks about "Gracenote Data" and how once the license terminates, we agree to cease using any such data.

First off, what is Gracenote Data? And does this apply to my PDFs and Word documents? Like can I transfer these documents if I decide to migrate from macOS to Windows?

And speaking of the licensing agreement in general: say one violates the agreement in one Macbook machine. Does the consequences of that violation carry over to other Apple machines and products you currently use or might buy in the future?

Would appreciate some perspective, especially if anyone out there is well versed in contract law, terms of use and such.

It’s music metadata. When you rip a CD there’s no information about the album art, tracks, etc. Ripping programs get that info from Gracenotes.
