iPod touch Question about Life Scan App

Hello,

I'm looking to get my wife an iPod for her birthday.
I heard about the Life Scan Diabetes app the other day and was blown away. I think this could really help her manage the disease so much better. My question is, will it be available on the Touch or on the iPhone only?

Probably the iPod touch also, because the new one has bluetooth and a dock connector, but I'm not 100% sure.
