Question about lte aw3

are you obligated and required to purchase an lte device addition to ur plan? Or can you buy one and it's fine if you do not activate the plan? Can u turn the lte feature on and off!

Basically I want the features but I don't want the charges all the time.

You don't have to purchase LTE. Or if you do, you can cancel it at any time.
