Hey everyone...

I've had Guitar Hero 3 for Mac for most of 2008 and really enjoyed it. We just got an Xbox 360, which is nice because there's no sign of GH:WT or RB2 coming to Mac anytime soon.

My question is, do you know if the wireless controller that comes with WT can somehow work with the Mac? The wired controller that shipped with GH3 is an XBox one, so I assume it would work with WT and RB2.

I ask this because I didn't want to go out and spend extra on a guitar controller for GH3, so I was just waiting until I got the next one, but I want to make sure it will work with GH3.

Thanks for your help!

There is a script for that, it allows several controllers to work iwth OS X, Bad I am not in my main computer to give you name or link.
But I will try to find over google.

You need the wireless controller adapter from Microsoft for the new GH:WT controller to work. Its about $20 at your local gamertown, whatever name's on the front of the building doesn't matter.

You need this software to make it work. I can't actually say whether it will work or not since it hasn't been updated in a year, but it should work OK with the controller. The touchpad thing might not work but its garbage anyway.

GH3:Mac wouldn't let me play with a 360 Rock Band Stratocaster, or a GH Gibson SG or Kramer Striker in a PS2 adapter, without additional software to map it to keyboard input. I used gamepad companion to resolve that.

Thanks for the info. Is there any more details you can give me about what the wireless adaptor is, because I searched for it and this thread was one of the first things that came up. I'd like to know for sure which product it is. Thanks!

tux racer won't work

I've tried to install tux racer on my mac lap top. I've tried many different versions of it and all of them don't work. It downloads then when i click on it it says it has unexpectedly quit. If anyone knows what the problem is your advice would be greatly appreciated.
