Question About MacBook Pro 2016 & Monitor

Hello guys,

I have LG 34" Ultrawide Monitor with thunderbolt connection. Can someone with the New MacBook Pro and this monitor please confirm that if I can use the USB ports of the monitors to connect usb keyboard and mouse after I connect the monitor and the MacBook Pro using USB-C to thunderbolt 2 adapter?
