I have a MacBook Pro that is a little over a year old. I use it ALL the time, and during the last week or so, I have noticed that the battery life seems to be getting shorter or at least shutting down because of no power a bit quicker than it used to.....it used to warn me when the battery was about 17 percent full before it would run out of power and lose all information, and then shut down at 2 or 3 % battery power if I didn't plug it in, but lately it has been shutting down, and losing my information at the 10 or 15 % mark without giving me any kind of warning beforehand. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Yeah I'm not happy with my battery either.

My MBP is about the same age & now is down to 88% health (iStat)
after only 144 cycles. My G4 Powerbook still had 95% after 300.

As for the warnings they're in the Energy Saver Prefs, you could fiddle
with that for an earlier warning maybe?
