I just purchased a new Macbook pro via telesales about 2-3 weeks ago, and am now mad that I did b/c of the ipod touch rebate that Apple started today.

My question is, is there a way for me to get that rebate offer? Would I have to basically return my Macbook pro, and then rebuy it again to get the rebate? Any suggestions or help on this?

in order to qualify for the rebate, both the computer and ipod have to be in the same order on the same receipt. the only way you could get the rebate now is to return the laptop, but isn't it already too late for that? if it isn't, would it be worth the hassle of paying a restocking fee?

what if I said that my MBP has been having some heating issues, and returned it that way (i have apple care, and it has actually been very hot when using it). Would it qualify then?

If not, what is the return policy for the laptop? 90 days? And how much is the restocking fee?
