Will Apple be releasing a "New" version of their current Macbook Pro Retina Display Series in 2013? If so when? I am looking to buy a MBP at the beginning of the year... but don't want to buy one...then find out a few months later a "newer version" is coming out. Any thoughts... anyone? :apple:

Just wait until next September. The new rev will probably be out by then and you will have gotten some feedback on it via MR.

Yes, they most definitely will refresh but only after Intel releases its new Haswell Processors.

there is a likely chance of a revision update will due soon, something like an early 2013 model, because there are newer processors update recently. since august there was the 3610qm, 3720qm, 3820qm, and now the updated chip has 3630qm, 3740qm and 3840qm. all of them has a 100MHz base clock increase. the macbook pro will likely get updated with these chip before haswell comes along, as as well as all the other rumored "silent fix" relating to heat issues.

and no, the image retention is here to stay, so don't ask.
