Hello everyone,

First to get it out of the way I'm a guy, just going through the process to change my username atm. So I have a Macbook Air 2017 which I bought this year so it's my first Mac ever. I learnt how to use it myself without relying on guides but have some questions. Say I have like 10 documents open in the right hand side of the dock. How do I close all of these I only have an option to open them when right clicking? The text in macOS is too small for me to see with the 13 inch screen how do I make it bigger? Also when booting and entering my password I find I have to press the return key twice in order for it to enter. How do I make sure when I log in it does it immediately?

The Mac is a few months old and the factory smell has gone except for the keyboard. How long does this off-gassing last for the keyboard? I bought a magic mouse but I'm not sure how to make sure that when I use it as a regular mouse for my finger not to move things around when my fingers move on the mouse. Does anyone know how to disable this? I tried disabling all gestures but as soon as my fingers slide on the mouse it scrolls around whatever I'm looking at on screen.

You can close all documents in an application by holding down the Option key ⌥ and selecting Close All from the File menu. It would be nice to be able to close minimised documents from the context menu in the Dock, but you can't. Send feedback to Apple.

It depends on the application. In Safari you can increase the text size by selecting Zoom In in the View menu. If you want to globally change the size of user interface elements you need to set a scaled screen resolution in the Displays section of the System Preferences.

You cannot disable the scroll gesture of the Magic Mouse. If you have problems with accidental scrolling you might want to try a third party mouse with a physical scroll wheel.
