Question about MMS

I'm just wondering when 3.0 comes out and we get the long awaited feature's how is the MMS going to work.. When you upgrade to 3.0 is that going to enable it on AT&T. Or are you going to have to call them and activate it...

ATT has been rolling phones over to the new packages, I believe and when the firmware is rolled out the carrier settings and how MMS messages are delivered (e.g. removing the "viewmymessage" horror). The firmware itself will include the software to display MMS messages.

If you have the iPhone text plan you get a message telling you to go to viewmymessage.com to see an MMS. Now the ability to receive MMS will be n the OS.
