I have a lot of movies and TV shows on on iTunes on my Macbook. However, I'm running out of HDD space. So I don't have to redownload my purchases, can I just move the files over to an external harddrive and move them back later if I want to watch them? Or, feed them to my iTunes from the external HDD itself?
