Question about moving to 10.6

My iMac is running 10.5.8 right now and im wanting to go to 10.6, what disk do i need to do this. I think i want to do a clean install but not sure. looking on ebay i see install disks and retail disk, which one of those do i need? and also do i have to buy 10.6 or could i go with a disk like 10.6.3 like this one.

it does not matter which version of SL you buy. U just do an update after the install and it will bring u up to the latest., so 10.6 or 10.6.3 would be fine.

I would do a clean install. That always seems best.

You want the retail disk. You do not want the disks that came with the mac when it was purchased because those are specific to the model that was purchased.
