Hi All,

Quick question for everyone. Can multiple DFU restores hurt your iOS device? I had some problems with iTunes on my pc and thought maybe the iPad I was using was maybe glitching. Turns out it was my PC not my ipad.

Anyway, just figured I would ask if any harm can come from that.

Thanks all!

If you do too many DFU reloads you'll go blind? :D

Am I the only one who keeps thinking the last word of the acronym is "up"?

I can't imagine how putting your iPad repeatedly into DFU mode would hurt anything.

Well I mean not just putting into DFU mode, but also restoring too. Maybe I'm just being stupid (which I'm sure I am hehe).

Interesting, I would have assumed it was the PC first.

And No, it should not have harmed your iPad.
