Question about multiple displays and screenshots

I have two displays. The "new" display is on the left and the iMac is on the right.
When I take a screenshot, it shows the screen on the left.

Is there a way I can change that?

Also, if I'm using a program on my ipad like logmein or splashtop, how can I switch between screens???? Thanks!

Try clicking on the 2nd display before you take the screen shot.

I use I use TeamViewer, and it's quite easy to switch:
