Hi all,

I currently have an iPhone 5s and I subscribe to iTunes Match where all of my albums are uploaded.

One hobby of mine is to collect live recordings from some of my favorite bands, but what I've noticed is that it's extremely difficult to get them to sort in a way that makes sense.

Great example, I own all of U2's albums, and they sort reverse chronologically, which is fine, though I'd rather it be alphabetical if I had my pick. When adding a bootleg from 1985, it randomly shows up between "No Line On The Horizon" (released in 2009) and "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" (released in 2004). When returning to iTunes on my PC, it shows the year 2006, but when selecting "Get Info" in iTunes, the year field is blank, and anything I put in there doesn't seem to make any changes to the album sorting on my iPhone. My intention was to mark any live shows as 1975 to make sure they sort after all the studio albums.

Does this make sense? Has anyone been able to figure this out?

Thanks!
