question about my ram?

I have the 15"Haswell 2.3 GHz 16gb 512ssd I thought it was supposed to have ddr5? why does mine say it has ddr3? I am confused... Or is it supposed to only have ddr3 not ddr5?

there is no ddr5. its supposed to have ddr3.
what exactly do u need such potent machine for if i may ask?
