a simulacrum
So i decided to sync my RSS feeds via Google Reader recently because i want them to appear as read on my mac if i read them on my iPhone and i can't really do that using Mail (at least not in a way that's acceptable to me)

So i downloaded NetNewsWire (i read it's one of the best out there) and uploaded the OPML file NewsRack on my iPhone exported to Google Reader

everything is fine and in sync, but the thing is this:

If i find an article on my iPhone that i wanna check out on my mac, i used to star them and when they reached a certain amount, i'd email them to myself.
Now with Google Reader sync i can just star them and see them starred on NetNewsWire, right?

Wrong, it apparently only goes one way. If i flag an article on NetNewsWire, it appears as starred on my iPhone but if i star an article on my iPhone, it doesn't appear as flagged on NetNewsWire, although it does show as starred on Google Reader's site.

Hence my dilemma. First of all, am i doing something wrong?
Decondly, is there another RSS client for the mac that syncs with Google Reader and does the back-and-forth thingy with starred articles properly?

thanks :)
