Ok, I am wondering if the new Airport Extreme will work on my Macbook. It is a black macbook and is 2ghz. It is not a core duo 2, so I don't see any information if it has the "N" card :)
Anyways, it is only a couple months old, and if it didn't ship with the 802.11n capabilities, will there be any way to upgrade? I would love to take advantage of the new capabilites of the New Airport Extreme, but I am afraid that I just might have missed the boat because I bought my Macbook too soon.

I thought I was in the same boat as you...

I got a new MB for the hell of it about three weeks ago and thought that I wouldn't have N capabilities when I found out about it. However, I spoke with this macrep that works at my store and he told me that most mb's have been shipping with the 802.11n chipset for about 2 going on 3 months now. So if you bought yours in early January you should be safe. However, if you wanna update to have full use of the N, wait a few months, I'm sure they'll get rid of the 2$ fee that they're charging now.

Cheers, Lu
