Is it worth it to pay the extra 10 dollars to purchase a new touch with the new application programs already loaded and not upgraded verses doing it yourself? Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks

Marshall

Not quite sure where you have to pay $10 more for the apps, but doing it yourself to one that doesn't have the software will cost you $20 from the iTunes store to buy the software....I must be missing something.

Some dealers are selling the touch for 369 w/o the new software and 399 loaded with the new apps. That was why I was curious if there was something challenging about the new software loading and worth having it preloaded. Thanks for the help

I bought mine from amazon last week (358.99 without the apps), then bought the apps and upgraded about 30 seconds after I opened the box.

The process is simple.
