I'm about install Win7 on my Brother Mac as the software he uses doesn't work on Mac. I think Parallels will work really well for him. When I 'install' Windows, does the windows disc always have to be inserted in order to run windows or is it physically installed like it would on any other computer?

Just wanted to make sure before I get into trouble!

Thank You

It's physically installed to a file on the computer, no need for the disc after that first install :)

Great, thank you for the fast responses!

Parallels 5 here I come!

EDIT: When I insert a Windows Application Disc, does Parallels automatically launch it inside Windows, providing it's open?
