I just enable the 4 gb data plan on the ATT network that allows me to access and create my own personal hotspot.

It was very easy to setup and enable in the iPhone, however, it only gave me two options on how to do it, either connect via Bluetooth or connect using USB. I chose Bluetooth as that was the only "wireless" option, not to mention the USB option didn't make sense.

It was very each to get my iPad paired up to my iPhone and the Internet connection worked great. That said, I had a few questions.

I could have sworn I have read and see people creating wireless hotspots using the personal hotspot feature, not conneting devices via Bluetooth connections. Why is my phone not offering me this feature???

I would like to note that I still have a 3gs, so maybe the wireless hotspot feature is not avaiable due to my older hardware?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
