How do Polls work on MacRumors?

It's not clear to me from the UI how things work.

When you click on the "Poll" tab while create a new thread...

1.) Do you type a question in the top box like where I am typing now, or does something else go here?

2.) Can you create a survey with multiple questions?

3.) Can you create a regular thread but also with a Poll?

On the top of the thread creation draft area, you’ll see “discussion” and to the right are “create polls”. There, you can create a poll using the editor.

The poll will be above the thread post, so the questions will be in an area above.

Questions are in a different area and in the same place to edit the poll

Yes, you can create a survey.

yes

Still a little confused...

Piecing things together, it appears that you cannot create a poll alone, but that it is part of a new thread?

And that the text area is where you type your new thread?

The way it reads to me, if you click on the "Discussion" tab, then you just create a thread, but if you lick on the "Poll" tab then you can create a Thread + Poll.

But I guess you cannot just create a poll by leaving the text area blank, right?
