I posted an ad in Boston's Craigslist personals, i'm offering instruction for webdesign in the lessons section. I tried to post the same in Manhattan Craigslist (New York), and it wouldn't let me; rejected it as a duplicate.

Is there any way i can do this? I feel they are more than far enough apart geographically to be worthwhile to post in each.

Thanks for any replies.

Try wording it differently and using another email address perhaps?

Its because you're only supposed to post in your local craigslist. Craigslist is for local stuff - its spam if you don't live where you post.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5G77 Safari/525.20)

Yes, you really can't post in numerous cities on Craigslist- only in the nearest location you are in.

If you post one in Boston with your email address, then you can attempt to post your other post in Man. with a different email address. Word your post around differently.

But, I'm not sure how long those posts will stay up since duplicates aren't allowed.

Thanks Fendol.

If i deleted my Boston one btw, would it be a long time before Craigslist recognized this and allowed me to post in Manhattan?
