Question about pre-ordering iPhone 4S

If I pre order how much do I have to put down? Or do I pay the full amount?

Will it be available for store pick up?

I'm asking because I'm getting paid next Friday, day before iPhone comes out. I want to pick it up a day later. or I can try to borrow money and pay it back the next day.
