How long is pre-ordering usually available? Is it until all iphones are sold out?
 
Pre-orders start June 15 for June 24 delivery, once the initial stock is gone or the time-to-ship is too close to June 24 to meet a June 24 deliver date, you can expect the pre-order process to be updated and then migrate to an Online Order since June 24 is the "Launch" Day.

Same thing happened last year with the iPhone 3GS.
