Question about Process

I have a 2.4ghz and i was looking at my activity monitor and there is a process that is taking up like 14-20% of my memory. Its called WindowServer, the only thing i have running is firefox, adium, and mail. Any idea what the process could be? Heres a screenshot-

Short: it's a necessary process that draws things on your screen. Besides 80mb of ram from the 4gig you have...it's a drop in the ocean.
