Question about recurring completed events in Apple Reminders app

Does the completion history of Reminders show completion of a task that you are reminded for every day or does it only show the most recent completion?

If not, what is a task manager application that is comparable to Reminders that will show me the history of a recurring completed task/reminder?

I don't have daily repeated reminders, but I have various weekly or bi-weekly ones (as well as monthly ones) and all those show up in the completed history each time that they occurred going back at least a year it seems.
